What it’s good for
Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and is important to a multitude of biochemical reactions in the human body. Spinach, legumes, fish, nuts, seed, whole grains, yogurt, avocado, raisins.

How to take it
Recommended dosage for adults: 270–400 mg (men); 280–300 mg (women)

Exercise caution if you are being treated for heart disease and kidney problems as magnesium supplements may make these conditions worse. It is usually not recommended to take magnesium if you are on these prescriptive drugs: Digoxin, Levomethadyl, Licorice, Mycophenolate Mofetil, Mycophenolic Acid.
